Our public sector are looking for a Data Protection Officer to join them on a temporary basis. Location Hybrid Pay Rate - £17ph-£19ph The main duties include:- Independently conducting data protection compliance reviews in collaboration with managers across a diverse range of specialisms Managing a variety of information assets to ensure compliance Working with managers to produce and review fair processing notices/ privacy notices Resolving queries and providing advice and guidance to internal managers and colleagues on data protection Maintaining and developing an information asset register system Any other administrative duties in line with the grading of the post The main skills and knowledge required are:- A strong working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018, with the ability to interpret and apply its principles across a range of scenarios Written and verbal communication skills with ability to confidently present and advice managers Good organisational skills with the ability able to plan and prioritise own work with conflicting priorities Ability to work on own initiative along with a commitment to team working Build strong relationships creating open and transparent relationships based on trust The ability to respond to challenge in a positive and constructive ..... full job details .....
