Base pay rangeSenior Software Engineer - C++ - Linux - Unix - London. No financial services experience is required for this position. A highly successful electronic trading organisation, recently opening a London office, seeks to hire a Senior C++ Software Engineer as they build out this exciting new chapter for the business. The Senior C++ Software Engineer will work on the clients core trading platform.The Senior C++ Software Engineer responsibilities:Develop and enhance the company''s core software, which are electronic trading solutions.Build new components and improve platform reliability and latency.Collaborate with engineering teams in Chicago and New York.Required Skill for the Senior C++ Software Engineer will require:A degree in a STEM related subject.At least five years of commercial C++ software engineering experience.Object-Orientated design and programming experience.Networking programming experience.Python Scripting experience.STL experience.An interest in moving into quantitative development in the future.Excellent opportunity to be part of a team designing and developing high-performance systems in a fast-paced environment for an organisation renowned for staff investment.
