Job DescriptionThe Role
Coordinate the Quality and Environmental function by maintaining, developing, implementing, and improving systems, processes, and standards. The role is based in London with regular visits to sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Support and ensure compliance with the company''s QandE policies and procedures across sites and offices.
Develop and manage KPIs, policies, procedures, and systems related to Quality and Environmental management, aligning with the Integrated Management System.
Implement and train staff on the Procore platform, becoming a Super User and providing ongoing training.
Conduct regular audits of QandE systems and procedures, including site visits.
Coordinate with external auditors for ISO system maintenance and upgrades.
Ensure consistent application of QandE standards across all sites and offices.
Maintain and improve ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and explore additional systems beneficial to the company.
Coordinate with Safety Personnel to ensure integration of QandE procedures with ISO 45001 safety management system.
Develop Quality and Waste Management templates and provide staff training.
Perform site visits and inspections, reporting to Senior Management.
Monitor and address QandE observations, nonconformance issues, and system defects.
Provide weekly progress reports and feedback to Senior Management.
Contribute to process improvements and KPI development for PQQs and tenders.
Manage document control related to environmental topics for ongoing projects.
Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
Degree in Construction Engineering, Management, or similar.
Understanding of large construction project lifecycles, preferably with a Main Contractor background.
Strong IT skills and knowledge of construction engineering technology.
Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, approachable.
Organized, able to prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team.
Interest and understanding of quality and environmental issues.
Experience supporting, guiding, and training staff.
Proven results-oriented approach.
Detail-oriented with strategic overview capabilities.
Willingness to learn and take on additional projects.
