Department: Manufacturing 
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (40 hrs/week occasional overtime)
Rate:£14 - £17.50 depending on experience 

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our Manufacturing team. You’ll be interpreting sheet metal and engineering drawings to fabricate high-quality components using mild and stainless steel. MIG welding skills are highly desirable, and you''ll be working with a range of tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and work from detailed engineering drawings

• Fabricate components using mild and stainless steel

• Tack welding required; MIG welding proficiency is a strong advantage

• Operate machinery including guillotines, brake presses, and overhead cranes

• Inspect workpieces and report any defects

• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and complete daily housekeeping

• Complete required paperwork and assigned tasks to specification and deadline

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in sheet metal fabrication

• Confident in MIG welding (advantageous but not essential)

• Able to read technical drawings and welding symbols

• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Good verbal communication and a strong work ethic

The Work Environment:

• Workshop setting with occasional high noise levels

• PPE must be worn (gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing/eye protection)

• Physically demanding: includes climbing, lifting, bending, and handling materials
