Senior Tax Manager, Real Estate to join our Group Tax team on an 18 month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Real Estate business within Private Markets, providing expert tax guidance and oversight across a diverse property portfolio.Joining us means helping to improve the lives of our customers and contributing to the success of the business every day.What you’ll be doing
Leading tax advisory and compliance support across our Private Markets property portfolioPartnering with Real Estate teams to provide practical tax guidance on transactions and operationsOverseeing tax risk management from fund structuring to investment exitManaging and mentoring a team of Property Tax Managers to deliver high-quality outcomesAligning tax approaches across Group Tax and supporting new product launchesEnhancing tax governance frameworks and driving process improvementsLiaising with external advisors and industry bodies to represent our property tax interestsSupporting cross-divisional tax coordination and regulatory reportingQualifications
Professionally qualified in Accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA) and/or Tax (e.g. CTA)Significant post-qualification experience in real estate tax within a large corporate or practiceStrong understanding of UK and European property funds and tax structuresProven ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to non-specialistsExperience managing tax aspects of property transactions and fund operationsSkilled in team leadership, coaching, and workload prioritisationExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAdaptable, analytical, and committed to continuous improvementBenefits
