Head of Finance Shrewsbury Permanent Working hours 37 hours per week £45,000 - £60,000 per annum This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business. The Head of Finance will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible in ensuring that the finances are managed efficiently and effectively. The Head of Finance will be expected to lead the central finance team, overseeing the day-to-day operational running. You will be responsible for: Management Accounting and Reporting - Lead monthly management accounts, finance closedown, payroll postings, budget monitoring, and financial forecasting, including variance analysis and action planning. Financial Planning and Advice - Develop 3-year financial forecasts; provide financial advice to budget holders, reporting issues to senior leadership. Budget Setting and Reviews - Conduct regular finance meetings, review KPIs, and support budget alignment with strategic goals. System and Ledger Oversight - Maintain and improve financial systems; oversee sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring timely payments and resolution of issues. Integrated Financial Planning - Drive the development and implementation of software to strengthen long-term planning and resource allocation.
