Technical Maintenance and Automation Engineer - OxfordshireSalary: Up to 70,000 Hours: Mon-Fri, days (flexible)We''re looking for a highly skilled Technical Maintenance and Automation Engineer to join a busy production site. You''ll be responsible for keeping complex plant and automation systems running at peak performance, troubleshooting faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems, PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi), drives, motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and packaging machinery.- Lead fault-finding and repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.- Plan, execute, and improve preventative maintenance schedules.- Support small automation and process improvement projects.- Maintain accurate records in CMMS and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.- Collaborate with operations, contractors, and engineering colleagues to deliver technical solutions.What we''re looking for:- Apprentice-trained or time-served in electrical and mechanical engineering.- Strong PLC programming and fault-finding skills across Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi systems.- Minimum 3 years'' experience in industrial or FMCG manufacturing environments.- Hands-on, solution-focused, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.- Proficient in MS Office and CMMS systems.Why this role?- Highly technical, challenging environment ..... full job details .....
