This role is central to the technical leadership of specific landing gear products and engineering projects, acting as the primary point of contact for all related technical matters.The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, ensure engineering readiness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both engineering systems and overall business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical lead for a designated landing gear product line.Support new customer development and contribute to technical aspects of the sales process.Lead cost base development, including Service Bulletin and Service Letter costing and charging.Maintain and analyse product standards and performance trends.Validate customer specifications and ensure engineering teams are equipped for task execution.Serve as a technical escalation point for internal departments.Drive technical projects from concept to completion:Develop work breakdown structures, business cases, and risk assessments.Manage schedules and critical paths.Collaborate across multiple sites to share best practices and technical expertise.Build and maintain a robust technical knowledge base for legacy, current, and future landing gear types.Create detailed project plans and tracking ..... full job details .....
