Senior SQL Database Administrator – Tyne and WearPermanent role with a salary of up to £50k - £55k and excellent benefits. Hybrid working (3 days per week on site on average) and flexible working hours.Sellick Partnership are delighted to support our long-standing and regular clients with the recruitment of a Senior SQL Database Administrator. The business is a well-known socially focused organisation based in Tyne and Wear, providing vital services to customers in the region.Responsibilities

Optimise and develop SQL queries to extract, transform and load (ETL) data efficiently.Ensure database reliability, scalability and security across the business.Contribute to migrations and improvements with cloud and on-premise technologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse data requirements and to design physical and logical data models.Translate business needs into technical specifications for database structures.Implement best practices.Configure and maintain solutions such as SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability Groups, database clustering and mirroring to ensure business continuity.Test and develop database recovery and backup procedures.What we are looking for
