Accounts Assistant Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Accounts Assistant (part-time hours) to support our finance team. You must be experienced in purchase ledger, credit card reconciliation, and bank account reconciliation with strong organisational skills and a commitment to accuracy. Hours and Working Arrangement:Part-time: 25+ hours per week, working days: Monday to Friday Office based position, must have own transport due to company location. Free parking on-site.Key Responsibilities:Purchase Ledger Process supplier invoices timely and accuratelyResolve invoice discrepancies and liaise with suppliers regarding queriesPrepare supplier payment runsMaintain and update supplier accounts and recordsCredit Card Reconciliation Collect, check, and process employee credit card receipts/expense submissionsReconcile credit card statements monthlyInvestigate and resolve any missing documentation or discrepanciesPerform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliationsMonitor cash transactions and maintain accurate cashbook recordsInvestigate and resolve reconciliation differences promptlySupport month-end closing activities.Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting and financial tasksMaintain compliance with internal controls and financial proceduresSkills and Experience Previous experience as an accounts assistant or similar finance roleStrong understanding of purchase ledger/Bank processes and reconciliationsProficiency in accounting software ..... full job details .....
