Sprinkler Design Manager - Hybrid Position

I''m working with an ambitious fire sprinkler contractor in London that''s building a lot of momentum in the sprinkler industry in the UK. Projects span across high-rise residential, commercial offices, retail, and education projects-and now they need a Sprinkler Design Manager to take ownership of their design function and help shape what comes next.

This isn''t just managing drawings.

You''ll be the technical lead for sprinkler design, driving projects from concept through to installation-ready designs, while working closely with project teams, clients, and site delivery.

Expect to be involved in:

• Leading sprinkler design across multiple live projects

• Producing and reviewing designs using Revit (essential)

• Coordinating with M&E consultants, architects, and main contractors

• Ensuring compliance with LPCB standards and relevant regulations

• Supporting value engineering and buildability reviews

• Mentoring junior designers as the team grows

• High-rise residential developments

• Office blocks and commercial schemes

• Retail units and mixed-use buildings

• Schools and education facilities

In short: proper projects, not small patchwork jobs

• LPCB Basic (minimum and a MUST have)

• Strong experience in fire sprinkler system design

• Proficiency in Revit (this is key)

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• Confidence working directly with clients and consultants
