A vibrant and high-achieving primary school in Grays is on the lookout for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from September 2025.

Whether you''re already a qualified HLTA, an experienced TA ready for more responsibility, or an aspiring teacher eager to grow, this role offers a fantastic platform to develop your career in education.

What You''ll Be Doing:

• Stepping into the classroom to deliver well-prepared lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2 (and occasionally Early Years)
• Providing focused 1:1 support and leading small group interventions
• Offering dependable class cover in the absence of teachers
• Supporting learning, engagement, and progress in a fun, inclusive environment
• Being a key part of a nurturing, collaborative staff team

What We''re Looking For:

• HLTA status, or strong experience delivering lessons in a primary setting
• Confidence working with a variety of age groups and abilities
• A flexible, proactive mindset and a positive approach to challenges
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Most importantly, a real enthusiasm for helping children thrive
