Your new role As Deputy Chief Accountant, you will play a central role in ensuring the financial integrity and transparency of Brent Council''s statutory reporting. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will lead the preparation and delivery of the Council''s Statement of Accounts and other financial reporting, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. You will also oversee VAT reporting and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures that support robust financial governance. This is a high-impact role that requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage complex financial processes across the entire organisation.
