The Water Utilities Division is Mott MacDonald’s centre of excellence for responding to the UK and Ireland\''s water and wastewater challenges. The work we do is at the forefront of ensuring safe water supplies for future generations, preventing urban flooding, and improving the health of our rivers and coastal environments. Our multi-disciplinary teams provide a variety of services throughout the full project life cycle, from advisory services and feasibility studies to outline and detailed design. Mott MacDonald is a market leader in the UK water sector, being a key supplier to major water companies and delivering a wide variety of engineering and advisory projects in support of the sector\''s challenges. Our Water Consultancy Division has ambitious growth plans aligned with AMP8 investment needs, and we are proud of our strong reputation in the industry, which is enabling us to expand our business. Digital is going to play a huge role in helping us achieve our Growth Plan. Our clients face challenges including pollution, leakage, climate change, and more. Digital services and solutions are needed to solve these challenges efficiently. We are looking for generalists who have a broad understanding of the digital landscape, although staff with specialist skills in areas such as information management, software development, GIS, data engineering, or IT are also welcome. The role will involve both strategic advisory services and implementation support to develop and deliver execution plans. The role will be working on live commissions, with opportunities to assist with internal implementation initiatives.We see this as a great opportunity to deliver a step change in how we support our clients. EssentialDegree level education in a subject relating to the positionAn excellent understanding of digital services and solutions applicable in the UK water industryExperience managing small digital delivery teams and supporting junior team members with career developmentTrack record in working closely with clients to advise and implement on digital changeExcellent technical report writing skills using concise EnglishStrong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi-disciplinary teams as well as Client teamsDesirableChartered Status with a recognised Professional InstitutionExperience applying the principles of ISO19650Experience with change management principlesExperience working within the UK water industryExperience with Python, Power Automate and Power BIExperience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud or SharePointUK Immigration
