MandE Engineer (Electrical biased)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive MandE Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our Facilities Management team on-site. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across a range of MandE systems. Working as part of an established team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facility remains fully operational and compliant. Key Responsibilities of the MandE Engineer: Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance duties, with a primary focus on electrical systems and equipment. Carry out PPM tasks in accordance with the site maintenance schedule. Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner. Support the management and safe operation of critical systems including LV systems, lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, HVAC, pumps, and motors. Liaise with subcontractors and ensure works are completed to required standards. Participate in a 1-in-3 standby rota, providing emergency call-out support. Qualifications/ Experience of the ideal MandE Engineer: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Proven experience in a similar FM or building services environment. Good understanding of mechanical systems and plant operations. City and Guilds Test and Inspection (2391 or equivalent). Experience with BMS systems. Knowledge of CAFM software and asset management systems. ..... full job details .....
