Salary: £74,000 + executive benefits What you''ll be doing: Lead application domain strategy for the Air Sector, setting the vision and roadmap for application solutions within a specific business domain or area Oversee the Application Portfolio Management (APM) activities to manage obsolescence, and rationalisation of the applications used in the Sector Define and design application architecture blueprints and ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards Collaborate with functional application business owners and technical owners to deliver a consistent and coherent set of application roadmaps Ensure application specific data is owned, managed and curated within the Sector Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) repository Ensure application integration through designing and enforce standards for integrating applications with existing systems and platforms Evaluate and recommend technologies - Research, select, and justify technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to support application development. - Define standards and best practices Establish coding standards, design principles , and governance to maintain consistency and quality Oversee solution delivery - Provide architectural guidance throughout the software development ..... full job details .....
