Your new roleDuties will include but not limited to:Oversee financial planning and budgeting across multiple service areasMaintain robust financial controls and support accurate reportingPromote financial collaboration and accountability amongst department leaders, providing financial insights and support where requiredEnsure compliance with internal policies and industry standardsLead forecasting and budget development, offering strategic guidanceManage financial processes for grants, sponsorships, and external fundingAuthorise payments and expenses when requiredMaintain financial systems and ensure coding structures are up to dateSupport audit processes and year-end financial activitiesDeliver cost analysis and financial projections as neededMonitor and manage financial risks within the department
