Simpson Judge is delighted to be partnering with an organisation in Macclesfield who are looking to appoint an experienced Group Financial Accountant into their small but very friendly team. This is a key role within the organisation and will require the successful candidate to take sole responsibility of all aspects of accounting for two groups of Companies, with the support of an Accounts Assistant/Administrator. This will suit someone ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with hands on, broad experience within an SME.Responsibilities:Preparation of Financial Statements and supporting notes for Annual reportingPreparation of the statutory accounts including supporting schedules and analysis for AuditReconciliation of balance sheet control accountsPreparation of the annual BudgetsEnsuring the accurate posting of all relevant transactionsPreparation and production of Management Accounts, including supporting analysis, budget re-forecasts and commentaryPreparation of Interim Accounts and supporting notes at half-yearPreparation of financial data and supporting documents to enable production of Overseas tax returns and UK Corporation Tax returnsSubmission of ERS data to HMRCPreparation of UK Annual Tax returns for multiple companiesSubmission VAT/GST Returns in the UK and OverseasRaising inter-company invoicesMaintaining small fixed asset and depreciation registerResponsibility for the Payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, including collecting and analysing timesheet ..... full job details .....
