Summary The ideal candidate will be experienced in Mechanical and Electrical and responsible for minimising down-time through Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), improve production facilities, reduce the costs of breakdowns, resource and repairs, and increase overall reliability and safety of the plant, personnel and production processes. Responsibilities Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults. Dealing with emergencies, breakdowns and repairs. Checking and calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy. Breakdowns: Use diagnostic and fault-finding methods to establish route cause and repair plant and equipment ensuring the minimal downtime. Using your findings, contribute to improving planned preventative maintenance. Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Fit new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly. Ensure that there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
