Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
A nurturing and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who present challenging behaviours linked to SEMH needs. The role is ideal for someone calm, consistent, and confident in using de-escalation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted mentoring and behaviour support
• Build trusted relationships with pupils at risk of exclusion
• Work alongside pastoral, SEN and safeguarding teams
• Support classroom engagement and re-integration

Requirements:

• Experience working with children/young people with behavioural needs
• Understanding of SEMH and restorative approaches
• Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills
