Job description Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care (Reablement Service) A local authority in East London is looking to recruit Occupational Therapists to join a newly established re-enablement service launching in June. The service focuses on enabling individuals to regain independence and remain in their own homes through strengths-based, person-centred interventions.Main Duties:Undertake holistic Occupational Therapy assessments with an occupational focusDeliver reablement assessments and outcome-focused care planningRecommend and coordinate specialist equipment, adaptations and assistive technologyCarry out moving and handling assessments and provide safe, practical solutionsContribute to safeguarding assessments and multi-agency workingManage an allocated caseload, prioritising tasks in line with statutory responsibilitiesWork collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary teamContribute to the development of the new serviceRequirements:Diploma/BSc in Occupational TherapyHCPC RegistrationPrevious experience working with Adults in community or hospital settingsExperience of moving and handling assessments and care planningStrong communication and report writing skillsEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)Eligibility to work in the UKDriving licence and access to a vehicle desirableBenefits:Be part of a brand new service from day oneOngoing training and CPDSupportive multi-disciplinary environmentFlexible working opportunitiesCompetitive hourly ratesWhy Join Our Agency? ..... full job details .....
