As Assistant Branch Manager, you will support the Branch Manager in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating teams and logistics, and ensuring high-quality service for customers. This role is ideal for someone with removals or logistics experience looking to grow into a management position.What you''ll do:Support branch operations, including scheduling crews, allocating vehicles, and overseeing removals and storage tasks.Handle customer enquiries, resolve escalations, and ensure smooth invoicing and billing processes.Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, transport rules, and internal procedures.Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, and performance tracking to build a strong, reliable team.Help monitor branch performance, including efficiency, cost control, and service quality.What you need:At least 2 years'' experience in removals, logistics, or transport operations.Previous supervisory or assistant management experience preferred.Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of vehicle and crew scheduling, storage management, and logistics planning.Competent in Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS, CRM, or similar).Full UK driving licence; commercial licence is advantageous.Why you''ll love ..... full job details .....
