The Voith workshop in Croydon is involved in the maintenance repair and overhaul of mechanical equipment from the Rail, Marine, Power, Oil and Gas industries as well as some smaller sectors. Voith Turbo Limited is based in Croydon and supports our customers in these diverse sectors for the UK and Ireland markets. As well as developing new build solutions with OEMs, Voith Turbo Limited offers full aftermarket support to our customers by way of spare parts supply as well as repair and overhaul services at our local workshop or at the customer location via our highly skilled workshop and field service workforce. The workshop in Croydon is split into overhaul cells for each product type and the mechanical and electrical fitters who work in these cells carry out the full strip down, inspection, survey, assembly and test of units such as gearboxes, fluid couplings, rail transmissions and cooling systems, rail couplers and marine products. As part of an expansion in output over the next 3 years a number of Mechanical Fitter roles are required at varying levels.
