Job Title: Electrical Inspector - Optical Fibre Specialist

Rate: -450/day (All Inclusive) - Outside IR35

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector with expertise in optical fibre installations to oversee fibre joining activities for an onshore optical cable installation project in Bramford, UK. This short-term assignment is critical to ensuring quality and compliance during the fibre optic integration phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect fibre optic cable joining operations on-site.
• Ensure all electrical and fibre installation work complies with relevant standards and project specifications.
• Liaise with contractors and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Document inspection findings and provide daily progress reports.
• Support quality assurance and safety compliance throughout the installation process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector in fibre optic cable installations.
• Strong understanding of optical fibre joining techniques and standards.
• Familiarity with onshore cable installation practices.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Relevant electrical or fibre optic certifications preferred.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 14 days (7th - 20th August 2025)
• Location: On-site in Bramford, UK
• Rate: -450/day (Outside IR35, all inclusive)
