My Client

Is a very successful manufacturer and a market leader in its sector and product type. The business is transforming to become leaner and more world class and requires a first class Production Manager to lead this change.

The Role

The process of manufacture is heavy, large and expansive while the headcount is reasonably modest at 4 Shift Managers and 36 Shift Based Supervisors and Operators. Therefore the challenges are very much in driving operational improvement (SQCDP)-while developing your direct reports.-

The Person

You will be-a Production Manager in an operation which could be considered a "process industry" and your experience will be such that you will be adept at managing KPI''s and effecting positive changes when these are below acceptable limits through a tenacious attitude and good problem solving skills. From a personnel perspective you must be able to demonstrate good development skills through mentoring and challenging your team.
