As a key member of our team, you''ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients'' facilities and equipment.
Job Summary:
We''re looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performanceConduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systemsProvide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranesWrite and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environmentUse mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance systemLiaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issuesDeputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sicknessWork overtime as required, including nights and weekends
Requirements:Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineeringStrong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experienceElectrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 17th EditionMechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild''s MechanicalGood multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and invertersHydraulic and pneumatic experienceAbility to fault-find and diagnose PLC systemsNVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and MechanicalAbility to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements
Desirable:Working at height qualificationIPAF certificationAP qualificationsExperience of heavy engineering
