Our Automotive team consist of around 1500 employees, 10 locations and 44 nationalities, we’re an international team working together to challenge the ordinary.If this sounds like you, let’s talk.The Vehicle Support Engineer will join our UK/Ireland team and will be responsible for day-to-day vehicle support, from a Technical Service Engineering perspective. This newly created position will be vital in ensuring customer brand confidence is maintained whilst also identifying process improvement opportunities. The individual will work closely with our global HQ technical team to review repairs, offer direct assistance (remote and in person), compile technical reports, coach, educate and develop both Internal teams and our service network, and in an ambassador capacity.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):This role will ensure that the Customer remains at the centre of all the aspects requiredWork closely with the Aftersales UK/Ireland team, the Technical Service Engineering team to implement processes and structures across inter divisional and wider Ineos Automotive teamsUndertake field visits to retailers and customers, support press and special events in UK/Ireland national, often with short notice and in accordance with internal processes, action an appropriate response within SLA’sAnalysis of root cause issues to identify opportunities to enhance quality whilst reducing claims and repairs in close collaboration with technical services teamAssisting workshops with the efficient process of repair with a ‘fix once, fix first’ approachWork alongside the Call Centre team to ensure all customers are contacted post repair, and to ensure total satisfaction is achievedOffering direct support to non-Ineos repairers both from partner networks and independentsTo work extremely closely with the aftersales team and wider business in technical, parts and warranty process issues, to ensure continuous improvement remains central to the roleWhat we are looking for:The right candidate will preferably come from an automotive aftersales background, have strong diagnostic and analysis skills and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hatsRecognised technical qualification or experience based equivalentBroad experience, in many, if not all Automotive Technical Service Engineering Aftersales disciplinesAble to use, understand and develop Technical Aftersales tools, diagnostic equipment and strategies for best practiseVery strong drive for continuous improvement – a Kaizen mentalityAbility to work in both office and field-based setting with a customer focused repair and service excellence approachIf the role sounds of interest and you want to learn more please apply.
