Job title: Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer Job Type: Permanent Start date: Subject to ClearanceSalary: Up to 65,000 Per Annum Benefits Package: 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme - 6-8% Matched, and Flexible start and finish times.Location: Barrow-In-Furness Flexible Working: Hybrid Working - 2 Days on Site every 2 WeeksHours of work: 37 hours per week (Double time for anything able two hours)Role and Responsibilities: Support or lead nuclear safety engineering activities including the resolution of emergent issues during the build and commissioning phases Act as point of contact for documentation, advise and services relating to the safety case Develop technical solutions to issues arising during construction and commissioning phases Advise on compliance regarding the design, build and commissioning requirements in support of the nuclear build phase Undertake nuclear safety assessments of deviations from the design intent Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are supported and requirements are metQualifications/Experience Required: Degree or equivalent in relevant field Understanding of the design, build, commissioning and operation of reactor plant systems Demonstrable ability to develop technical reports Engineering experience in designing and building of systems - Desirable Able to lead engineering investigations - DesirableUK National Security Vetting Status - All candidates must be able to obtain UKSV SC Clearance.Interested in ..... full job details .....
