Youll be accountable for service standards, staff training, financial controls, and guest satisfaction ensuring that every shift runs seamlessly and that MAYA continues to set the standard for dining and hospitality in Manchester.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and inspire the FOH team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.Oversee daily restaurant operations, from reservations and floor plans to service delivery.Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing laws, health and safety, fire procedures, and food safety regulations.Maintain detailed knowledge of menus, ingredients, allergens, and dietary requirements.Manage stock reviews (linen, wines, and supplies) with attention to PandL.Ensure end-of-day cash-up and reports are accurately completed.Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently and professionally.Monitor service standards through daily briefs, debriefs, and on-shift coaching.Support the set-up and service of private dining, functions, and in-house events.Ensure all FOH and guest areas are well maintained and always presented to the highest standard.Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, events, and reservations teams to ensure seamless service.Provide cross-departmental support where needed, including assisting bar operations during service and close.What We''re Looking For:2+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-end, high-volume venue.Strong leadership, motivational, and people-management skills.Knowledge of reservation systems, POS/till systems, and stock management.Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including allergens and intolerances.Organised, decisive, and able to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards.Positive, proactive, and solutions-focused with excellent communication skills.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.This is your chance to take the lead in one of Manchesters most dynamic restaurants where dining, nightlife, and unforgettable guest experiences meet.Apply today and bring your passion for hospitality to MAYA Manchester .
