Job Description:

• Deliverandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;curriculum-richandnbsp;lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Create aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;inclusive, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;classroom environment where every child can thrive
• Use a range ofandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentsandnbsp;to monitor progress and inform next steps
• Supportandnbsp;reading fluency,andnbsp;mathematical reasoning, andandnbsp;independent learning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues to support holistic development
• Contribute to the wider school life throughandnbsp;assemblies,andnbsp;school events, andandnbsp;enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;caring,andnbsp;motivated, andandnbsp;flexibleandnbsp;educator
• Demonstrate a strong commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive education, andandnbsp;pupil wellbeing
• Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;organisation, andandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;skills
• Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;ongoing professional developmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;collaborative practice
