An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician / Civil 3D Technician to join a well-established and forward-thinking Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based at London''s vibrant Butlers Wharf.

Working within a dynamic Civil Engineering team, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of infrastructure projects valued up to multi million pounds, contributing to the drawing, detailing, and 3D modelling of roads, drainage, and infrastructure schemes. Projects include residential developments, mixed-use city centre schemes, and large-scale infrastructure works, working alongside experienced senior engineers and technical specialists.

The role will involve producing and coordinating detailed civil engineering models and drawings, supporting the implementation of technical standards, and working with the latest software and BIM technologies including Civil 3D, Infraworks, and Navisworks. There will also be regular coordination with structural engineering teams and external stakeholders across multiple projects.

Candidates should have between 5-10 years'' experience in a similar role within the UK market, with strong Civil 3D and AutoCAD capabilities and experience working on roads and drainage infrastructure projects. Knowledge of MicroDrainage, Infraworks, Navisworks, PDS, or PDS Signs would be advantageous. Previous experience mentoring junior technicians or supporting team development would also be beneficial, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress into a more senior or managerial position.
