SEND Teaching Assistant - Year 2 Inclusion Base

Location: Hackney

Start Date: ASAP going into September

Pay: -100 per day (increasing to -120 after one term)

Contract: Full-time

Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a warm and welcoming primary school with a fantastic community ethos, seeking a committed SEND TA to join their inclusion base associated with the children in Year 2. You will work closely with a colleague to support five children with additional learning needs, delivering targeted, personalised interventions to help them thrive.

The Role

This is a highly rewarding position where you will:

Support a small group of pupils within the school''s inclusion base

Deliver tailored interventions designed to meet individual learning needs

Work collaboratively with another TA and the wider SEND team

Help create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting children with additional learning needs

Demonstrate a good understanding of phonics programmes, ideally Read Write Inc.

Be patient, adaptable, and proactive in their approach

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

Be passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential
