Housing Complaints Investigator
4Recruitment Services are seeking to recruit a Housing Complaints Investigator to work in our Complaints and Casework team. The role will ensure you deliver a high quality complaints service to the clients customers.Our client is seeking candidates with extensive complaints handling experience, particularly (but not exclusively) in relation to housing, repairs, homelessness and public realm complaints.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Responsible for undertaking corporate and where required statutory complaint investigations in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.Work with a great team in the Democratic and Corporate Governance department covering those complaints which have been escalated to stage 2 of the Council s complaint process and require investigating and drafting on behalf of the Corporate Directors.Have the opportunity to mentor and advise colleagues in other departments on complaints management and assist them in using the learning from complaints to drive service improvements. Provide complaints training to colleagues across the Council and liaise with key bodies and partner agencies to obtain information and answer queries in relation to complaint investigations. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Ideally require candidates with extensive local authority complaints experienceExperience of managing stage 2 complaints, drafting responses on behalf of Corporate Directors so will know how to interact with senior stakeholders.
