Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Bingley, West Yorkshire
Salary: -90 - -95 per day-
Contract Type: Supply and Long Term
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025
About the Role:
The Education Network are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bingley. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, helping pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals as needed
- Experience working with children with SEND (in school or other settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
