Store Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager in DIY hardware construction to oversee the daily operations of our hardware store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective management skills. Duties Lead and manage a team of staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and card transactions Develop good relations and customer satisfaction. Monitor merchandising standards to ensure product displays are appealing and aligned with brand guidelines. Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities. Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling daily deliveries, organising carriage and postal deliveries, Ordering goods from key suppliers Requirements Proven experience in hardware , DIY management or a similar supervisory role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated experience in sales management, merchandising, and time management. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks. Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer service best practices is required.
