Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2 to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the Aylesbury area. About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across all core subjects in line with the Key Stage 2 (Year 3) curriculum.
• Support pupils in building strong foundational skills and prepare them for end-of-year assessments, including early preparation for future SATs.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based teaching strategies tailored to the needs of Year 3 learners, while staying informed on current educational developments.
• Take full responsibility for the management of the classroom environment, ensuring it is organised, welcoming, and supports high-quality teaching and learning.
• Foster independent learning by teaching key skills that help pupils become confident, self-motivated learners.
• Act as the main academic and pastoral lead for the class, providing consistent guidance and support to all pupils.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lesson documentation in line with school policies and curriculum frameworks.

The ideal candidate will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong commitment to continued professional development.
• Proven successful teaching experience and ability to evaluate and improve the quality of learning and teaching.
• Skilled in curriculum planning, including assessment for learning, progress tracking, and reporting to parents.
• Confident in using data and target setting to drive pupil progress and achievement.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current educational developments and effective learning and teaching strategies.
