Senior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor We are seeking an experienced Principal Designer/CDM Adviser to join our Construction team in providing expert technical guidance, ensuring best-practice health and safety consultancy. What you ll be doing: Act as Principal Designer/CDM adviser, ensuring compliance across all RIBA stages through to handover. Lead HandS: design reviews, principles of prevention, HandS files, audits, risk assessments, and method statements. Deliver end-to-end project management: site inspections, reporting, finance tracking, and document control. Enable outcomes: advise stakeholders (clients/designers/contractors/legal), support PQQs/fee bids/marketing, improve services, and train/mentor juniors. What we re looking for: Qualified Technician or working towards Chartered (or equivalent) with HandS credentials (NEBOSH Construction/General minimum). Extensive construction and PD/CDM experience with demonstrable sector expertise under CDM regulations. Strong organisation and administration; proficient in MS Office; reliable delivery against fee targets. Client-focused relationship builder and confident communicator (written and verbal), representing the business professionally.
