Salary:

£375–£475 per day Outside IR35

Client: Trevett Services, in partnership with an established Maintenance Contractor. The role reports to the Project Director, supporting the Agile Works and Projects Teams to provide accurate cost and contract advice. Projects are varied and may include Security Upgrades, Building Refurbishment, Large MandE Installations and Upgrades, Fuel Pipelines and Storage Facilities, Decommissioning and Demolition, Asbestos Removal, and Railway Works, with typical values between £100k and £5m.

Main Responsibilities

Preparation of pre-tender estimates / cost planning.

Lead role interfacing with the client and other consultants pre- and post-tender.

Compilation of tender packs including managing queries from tendering contractors.

Review of tender returns and cost alignment ensuring compliance with tender documentation, including preparation of contract recommendation reports.

Carry out take-offs and site measurements for material procurement and final accounts.

Check and approval of all MTC pre-measures and final accounts.

About you / Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).

Have previously held a Senior QS position with an MandE Service Provider or Contractor.

Experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract.

Proficient in the full Microsoft Office package.

BPSS (minimum); ideally SC cleared (security vetting).
