Gas Engineer

Due to our continued growth and success, Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a highly skilled and driven Mobile Gas Engineer to join our dynamic regional team.As part of the regional mobile team, you will assist in the efficient delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance works. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of statutory and routine PPMs, as well as reactive maintenance tasks, all in line with specific contract SLAs.Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality PPM, reactive tasks, and minor works, ensuring all work meets Atlas standards, safety protocols, and service level agreements.Communicate effectively with clients, customers, and team members through regular updates, feedback, and collaboration with supervisors and subcontractors.Provide technical support and guidance, ensuring the team delivers accurate and efficient service using appropriate resources and materials.Maintain accurate records by updating the Maximo system, submitting time and materials for quoting, and ensuring all work is properly logged and reported.Take ownership and accountability for service quality, customer satisfaction, and participation in on-call duties as required.Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training
Full Driving LicenseQualified MandE Engineer with a bias in CombustionCCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety (compulsory), including combustion performance analysisCENWAT - Central Heating Boilers and Water HeatersCODNCO1 - Changeover from Domestic Natural Gas to Commercial Natural GasICPN1 - Installation of Commercial Pipework in excess of 35mmTPCP1A - Testing and Purging of Low Pressure Commercial Pipework ( ACS Core Commercial Gas Safety - COCN1 or ACS - Changeover Domestic to Commercial (CODNC01)TPCP1 - Testing and Purging Pipework greater than 1m3 (>1m3, 6" or 150mm)CORT1 - Overhead Radiant Tube HeatersCDGA1 - Direct Fired Commercial AppliancesCIGA1 - Installation of commercial indirect fired appliancesEssential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Proven technical skills in gas systems, pipework, and related disciplines, with at least 2 years'' experience in multi-site, multi-service environments.Comfortable with technology, including modern office software and asset/work management systems like MAXIMO or other CAFM tools on Android tablets.Strong organisational and customer service skills, with experience in client-facing roles and the ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively.Atlas Workplace Services was built to be different from faceless organisations in the facilities management industry that often lack a human touch.
