This long-term position involves working closely with a child who has physical disabilities and uses a wheelchair, alongside a second child with complex Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will work collaboratively with the class teacher and SEND team to ensure both children receive consistent, high-quality support throughout the school day.The Role You will provide tailored, structured support to two children in Year 3 with differing needs.Child 1: Physical disabilities, wheelchair user - requires mobility support, hoist use, personal care and help accessing the curriculum.Child 2: Complex ASD - requires calm, consistent support with communication, emotional regulation, social interaction and learning tasks.Your Role will include:Delivering 1:1 and 2:1 support during lessons, interventions and transitionsProviding personal care, hoisting support, toileting and mobility routinesSupporting sensory regulation strategies and enabling access to learningEncouraging independence while providing reassurance ..... full job details .....
