Job description: Modern Edge Recruitment are actively looking for Self Employed Van Drivers in the CB8 area of Newmarket. Pay Rate - 125 per day subject to full week completion Work Monday to Friday (Alternative Saturdays) Need to be currently set up as a sole trader Will be paid minimum wage if not set up as a sole trader/self employed Basic DBS Check is required (advantages if you already have one in date) 1st week of work is all Training based at 50 per day accumulating 250 per week whilst on training and not on your own runs. Daily rate will be paid once on our routes within the company. Minimum of 50 hours per week available working as many hours as possible if wanted per week. Responsibilities Safely operate a van for the purpose of delivering pharmaceutical goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policy. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Report any mechanical issues or concerns with the vehicle promptly.
