Overview

We have an opening for a 6 month rolling contract at one of our leading financial services clients based in London, inside IR35. This requires travel to Milton Keynes one day per week.Responsibilities

Utilising good business knowledge of payment flows for cross border and domestic payment types.Bringing an understanding of ISO20022 principles and Payments Industry landscape.Analysing key technical documentation provided by industry or suppliers e.g. Rulebooks, Product Specifications.Working with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and translate into user stories to feed into build phases.Working with external service suppliers to coordinate project delivery and ensure compliance with ring-fencing regulation, and providing internal stakeholders with key updates to be taken into project governance forums.Supporting architects on solution design.Managing risk at all times through the project lifecycle.What you’ll bring / Qualifications

5+ years previous experience of working within a UK focused Payments environment and an understanding of the National Payments Vision programme and wider UK Payments landscape.Experience of working with and implementing change projects.Experience of developing processes and procedures in regards to governance and change management principles.Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging, constructively and influencing stakeholders across all divisions.Proven diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills.Able to build rapport with project stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Uses all available channels and mechanisms to effectively communicate to all employees across the bank.Experience of working in agile, including an awareness of agile tools and how to use them (such as JIRA and Confluence).Employment details
