Want to join a new and dynamic team focusing on improving the quality of the non-functional aspects of our IT initiatives? We are looking for an Infrastructure Test Specialist who will drive and manage our non-functional testing for one of our modernization programs in our UK Testing squad.

The Group Business Solutions (GBS) division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our technical teams deliver both new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. Quality is a key in reaching that objective.

The Role: As a specialist in non-functional related testing, you will assist the Product Owners in shaping and managing the Non-Functional test requirements. Together with the technical experts and analyst you will translate those requirements into a test strategy and ensure proper and timely preparation and execution in alignment with our Infrastructure and Security divisions. You will be part of a team of 4 NFT specialist in which cross-learning and collaboration is valued. The NFT domains to be covered by the team are multiple (but not exclusive): Disaster Recovery, Resilience, Microservices, security, Alerting, Monitoring, Performance, CPU Usage.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the definition and testing of non-functional requirements (NFRs) as part of the Technology transformation (JAVA, KAFKA, Linux, Cloud, API)

Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are clearly defined and are testable

Define and articulate the Non-Functional Test Strategy

Design and execute NFR testing cycles, coordinating efforts with external teams until bottleneck resolution through root cause examination. Document test results and compile them into consolidated high-level reports.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in the preparation and execution of Non-Functional Testing, ideally within Financial Services

Knowledge of non-functional testing including performance, scalability, reliability, Failover/ Disaster Recovery, accessibility testing

Experience of using testing tools e.g. Performance Center/ LoadRunner, ADS, Selenium, Xray, Splunk

Are familiar with working within large scale and complex Technology Implementation or change

Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive non-functional test approach/plans and cases

Are technically strong and are able to translate requirements towards technical experts at the level of security and/or infrastructure

Ability to translate test results into understandable language for non-specialists and advise the business, design, infrastructure and development teams on resolution priorities

Hands on experience of agile Development practices, DevOps pipelines, continuous integration / deployment and test automation
