We are Hiring for an Immediate position of Health and Safety officer role for an International Bank based in Harrow. This is FTC for 11 Months. Minimum IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be mandatory for this role.Job Role:-The main responsibility is to ensure thot the Bank is compliant with UK Occupational Health and Safety standards, and in providing a healthy environment for its staff, customers, contractors and visitors and thot all the statutory requirements are instituted and maintained throughout Bank.JOB RESPONSIBILITY: Develop effective fire and other emergency plans for the Bank. Carry out accident/incident investigation and reporting under RIDDOR legislation where appropriate. Ensure implementation of corrective preventive action in the event of an accident. Chairing and organizing consultation meetings with employees. Co-ordinate the risk assessment programme. Ensure the management of high-risk activities by use of permit to work system. Introduce and maintain control measures to protect new and expectant mothers from work related hazards. Maintain health and safety records and statutory documents.
