Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Semester : Fall Semester

Adjunct Faculty:

Nursing?sych/Mental Health Specialty

The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of no more than 8 students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency in the psych-mental health setting. This position is 2 days a week (15 hours) for 8 weeks (typically Tuesdays/Wednesdays 7a-3p). Days/times may be negotiable depending on instructor/site availability.

The timeframe is August 27-October 8, 2025 OR October 15-December 19, 2025

Course:

NURS211: Nursing III

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

The compensation rate is $800-$950 per contact hour [or $47.95 - $59.45 [per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

The Minimum Qualifications For The Position Are As Follows

Education:

Candidates must meet one of the following options:

Master''s degree in NursingBS in Nursing, with a Master''s degree in public health, health care administration, health promotion, or another health-related field.BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program.BS in NursingAS in Nursing and work at New Hampshire Hospital

Experience:

At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing.

Licensure:

Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
