Role: HGV Driver (Class 1) 
Location: Dunstable
Salary: £20.56 – £25.00 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing, Temp-Perm
Working Hours: Start Times Between 16:00-02:00 (4 hour window within these times)
5 days a week, 45 hours guaranteed

M4 Specialist is recruiting experienced and professional HGV Driver (Class 1) for ongoing full-time work with a prestigious client based in Dunstable. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation, working as part of a two-person team delivering to store locations across the region.

HGV Class 1 Driver, Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering cages and totes from the distribution centre to various store locations in the South East

• Working alongside a driver’s mate for all deliveries

• Overnight and early morning runs

• Adhering to all road safety and compliance standards

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

• Day shifts: £20.56 per hour

• Night shifts: £22.22 per hour

• Overtime: £23.88 (after 10hrs) 

• Sunday/Bank Hols: £25 per hour

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements such as DD, DR, IN)

• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience

• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive

• Must pass a driving assessment and induction (paid if successful)

• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements
