Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)?

Do you have experience working in a SEN setting and want to make a real difference in a child''s educational journey? Academics are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil at a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Magor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ALN.
• Assist with classroom tasks, including early literacy and numeracy activities.
• Implement individual strategies to support the child''s academic and emotional development.
• Foster a positive, supportive relationship with the pupil.
• Work closely with the class teacher and parents to track progress and adapt support as needed.

What We''re Looking For:

• Essential: Experience working in a SEN setting.
• Desirable: Experience supporting pupils 1:1 with ALN.
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (we can help).
• Registered or willing to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - we''ll guide you through it.
• Able to provide two recent professional references.
