Technical Sales EngineerTelfordWe are recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business that delivers end-to-end engineering solutions across the food sector and other regulated industries.The organisation provides a full in-house service, including CAD design, sheet metal fabrication, conveyor solutions, structural steelwork, laser cutting, site installation, and ongoing machine maintenance. This role will suit a technically strong, commercially minded individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, solutions-led environment.Using a consultative sales approach, the successful candidate will manage incoming enquiries, develop new business opportunities, and take ownership of the sales process from initial contact through to project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and respond to incoming enquiries from an established customer baseUnderstand customer requirements and propose standard and bespoke engineering solutionsProactively source and develop new business opportunitiesPrepare and issue accurate quotations for laser cutting, fabrication, and installation workManage the sales process from quotation through to order completion, resolving any issues along the wayFollow up on enquiries and quotations to maximise conversionClose sales and contribute to ongoing revenue growthBuild and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsRepresent the business professionally at all times Required Skills and ..... full job details .....
