We are currently seeking an experienced-Fire Door Fitter-to join a busy team working on-social housing properties across Bedford/ Northampton. This is a 3-month-temporary-to-permanent (direct sub-contractor)-opportunity with the potential for long-term work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities of the Fire Door Fitter:

• Install and maintain-FD30/FD60 fire doors-to current regulations and standards

• Work independently across-social housing properties

• Liaise with tenants and housing officers as needed

Requirements of the Fire Door Fitter:

• Proven experience fitting and maintaining-fire doors in domestic settings-(ideally social housing)

• Valid-BM TRADA,-FIRAS, or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry

• Must have-own van and tools

• Strong understanding of fire safety and building regs

• Ability to start-immediately
