Academics are looking for an experienced, passionate Outreach Teaching Assistant who is creative, empathetic and able to build strong relationships with both highly vulnerable and challenging students who are unable to access mainstream education to join an SEMH School/Alternative Provision in Portsmouth. The suitable Outreach Teaching Assistant will be someone who is looking for an education support / pastoral / mentor role, a role that fits outside the box.You will be required to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and your role will be to help reignite their love for learning, build their confidence, be that trusted adult the student needs and help them to believe in themselves.
